Coalition will advance an opportunity agenda that truly serves all Virginians

FALLS CHURCH, VA – Conservative Republican candidate for Virginia governor Glenn Youngkin announced today the launch of the ‘Black Virginians for Glenn' Coalition. A political outsider and successful businessman with fresh ideas and real-world problem-solving experience, Youngkin will work alongside Black Virginians to make Virginia the best place to live, work, and raise a family.

Black Virginians for Glenn will be led by Diante Johnson, President of the Black Conservative Federation and former Black Voices for Trump Advisory Board member. It will build upon the grassroots enthusiasm for Glenn’s candidacy.

“As governor, Glenn Youngkin will make the Commonwealth the top place for all business owners, including Black business owners, workers and families, to thrive,” said Johnson. “Glenn understands Black Virginians want more opportunities, better education, more business and home ownership, and easier access to job training and occupational licensing. He is committed to carrying our message of conservative solutions to all voters and rebuilding the Commonwealth so that it works for all Virginians. I’m proud to partner with him in this effort.”

“I am thrilled to have Diante on our team and helping me lead a Republican resurgence in Virginia," said Youngkin. "Politicians like to talk a lot, but I’m not a politician – I’m a business leader, and I know how to deliver real results. I will wake up every day as governor seeking to serve all Virginians. That means we are going to give parents the power to choose where their children go to school and access to the resources needed to empower students to succeed. I will remove roadblocks and cut red tape to make it easier for businesses to succeed. We will build a rip-roaring economy that creates jobs and boosts wages, and make Virginia the best place in America to live, work, and raise a family.”
